    Actually, jmac, I did call, and you responded by text:

    "...heading to China for two weeks. Enjoy your ski day; I'll check in w you after I return on 3/30...."

    So the expectation on my part was that you would call me back when you were available, if that seems reasonable. I had long since abandoned the idea of beating bushes by phones with agencies (although I tried for awhile there); just didn't get anywhere.

    If you mean chasing off wade fishermen off with gunshots and the local police not investigating because no one was hit, that's another thread on this forum. The other disturbing tactic used on the Truckee (and Yuba) to haze fishermen is releasing large unleashed dogs that find you and bark like hell. As fucked up as this is, there are much worse possible outcomes of this behavior than not being able to fish. Like dying.
