Upper Sacramento returns to fishable flows

I posted some photos of the river here in town.

Today was much better conditions.

Flows are still a bit high, 1040 CFS at the gauge, but it is only 2-3 inches high here in town.

Got my New 2015 license today so I had to give it a go.

Only fished for about 90 minutes.
Hooked 4 and landed two.

Thanks for the update. I work up in Redding quite a bit and it is good to get an accurate report. Hopefully you can send out reports on the Upper Sac on a regular basis. Bugs, new flies and river conditions… Good to see you are catching fish in that part of the woods... Happy New Years!
