Tried the new boat on Sat. What a great day this was..!! Started off a little shakey on the oars, but there's some tweeking here and there I need to do on the oars and seat row position.
My younger twin Chuck  did an excellent job on the oars to keep us from hitting any more bridge posts like I did on lower Sunrise
But I had to try and see where the learning curb had to be set. Didn't really help that Chuck told me to shoot for the middle opening while 40 yards away from the first where the slower rookie water was at..
But all in all a great day with great friends, and some stories to laugh about.
The only major fishing highlight, was a bruiser that took a silver minow pattern on my 8wt, using a DF300 airflo line. DawgGone fish took into backing in 4sec... :!: :!: I swung the pattern on the boat in the deepest riffle 300 yards below Sailor Bar.
The Main debate the rest of the day was it a HOT Steelie or a Striper. I'll never know, but the look of my rod bent to knee, and the sweet high note of that reel was all I needed that day. I can finally fish where I couldn't before. Enjoy the PIC's... See ya on the water. Ray
