How about a closeup side view and materials list (recipe).

Recipe:
Hook: I like the daiichi 1530 in a 12
Thread: olive 6 or 8/0 uni
Tail: I trim a 1/4 inch wide or so piece of green swiss straw, length 2 inches or so and tie it in an overhand knot. Slide the opening of the knot over some olive hollow standard or midge tubing and pull down the knot, trim off one of the knot tag ends. Take the piece of tubing and twist it with both hands to furl it with the knot at the center. Tie in the tail

Body, olive dubbing

Gills, olive yarn of some type, fairly stiff yarn or fiber

eyes, small or extra small olive mono eyes.

I put a drop of superglue on the swiss straw knot so it stays tight.

The fly sinks slowly and I think the light passing thru the tail is the best part of this fly.
I'm not saying it will make fish bite when they aren't, but this damsel nymph is as good or better than anything else I have seen the guys fish.

Hope that helps,
Bob

Those look great Bob! I'll bet lake Davis bows would have a feeding frenzy on those!

I'm thinking this pattern might work when damsels are popping on Henrys lake.
